What Documents Are Needed for Cash Loans?

Before heading out to apply for emergency quick cash loans, a borrower will need to gather several important documents. The loan companies use these documents and information provided by the borrower to verify the borrower’s identity, income and bank account. Without these documents, the cash loan company can’t complete the loan application process.

Borrowers will need to gather at least three month’s worth of proof of income. For a regular job, this can include pay stubs, paid invoices or three months of bank statements showing deposits from an income source. The cash loan company will also need three local references that they can call to confirm the borrower is who he or she claims. Be sure to bring along the address book.

The borrower will need to fill out some loan application papers that request all of the usual information about name, address, phone number and social security number. While the borrower is filling out papers, the lender will photocopy two forms of identification from the borrower, usually a driver’s license and social security card.

Towards the end of the loan process, the cash lender may ask the borrower to fill out a check from the bank account that he or she wants to use to repay the loan. The lender scan the check or keep it and deposit it later on the agreed upon repayment date.
